Link building · Citations · Brand mentions
My off-page SEO services build links, citations and brand mentions from relevant, real websites, so your pages move up Google and your brand gets mentioned in AI answers. Rankings are the goal, not vanity metrics.

Ahrefs Domain Rating
Built with free links from communities, directories and content platforms, plus Reddit, where the founder already had a following. No paid placements.
Off-page SEO is everything outside your website that tells Google, and AI tools, that your business is trustworthy and worth ranking.
It covers backlinks from other websites, brand mentions, directory citations, business listings, community discussions on Reddit and Quora, and your presence on social and video platforms.
When two pages answer the same search equally well, the one that other relevant websites trust and point to usually ranks higher.
On-page and technical SEO make your pages ready to rank. Off-page SEO gives Google a reason to rank them above your competitors.
If several of these sound familiar, your website is missing the trust signals that move rankings.
Five groups of tactics, mixed to suit your business, your market and your budget.
Some link tactics lift a metric for a month and then put your whole website at risk of a Google penalty. I don’t use them, whatever the budget.
Every opportunity has to pass four checks before I go after it.
How strong the site is in Ahrefs and Moz. A link from a trusted site carries more weight.
People actually visit it. A high score with no visitors is a warning sign, not a win.
A health site for a clinic, a tech site for an app. Relevant links pass the most value.
Nepali websites for local businesses, and UK or USA websites for clients selling there.
There is no fixed number of links per month. Quality filters decide what gets built.
01
I pull a large list of link opportunities with Ahrefs, Semrush and Moz, including the sites linking to your competitors but not to you.
02
Only the opportunities that pass all four checks stay on the list.
03
Outreach emails, guest posts, directory listings, community posts and content, depending on the opportunity.
04
Each link goes into a Google Sheet with its URL, date, type and status, so you can see exactly what was built.
05
I watch the positions of the pages we’re building links to. Rankings, not authority scores, show whether it’s working.
06
A backlink check for lost links and new toxic links, so problems are caught early.
Your budget decides the mix. Both work. Sponsored placements simply move faster on competitive keywords.

Proven results
Two samples from my client work: one built only on free links, one with a sponsored placement. Both use real Ahrefs data with client URLs hidden.
Sample 1 · AI software · free links only
Lekh AI is an on-device AI app for Mac and iPhone. With no budget for paid links, I built its authority from free sources: Reddit, where the founder already had an active following, plus Quora, directories, social profiles and content platforms.
| Ahrefs metric | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Linking websites | 198 | 387 |
| Backlinks | 331 | 963 |
| Domain Rating | 0.1 | 6 |
| Dofollow share | 5% | 4–5% |
Off-page work was one part of the project. See the AI software case study for the full result: organic clicks up 242%.
Real Ahrefs data, before and after.
Sample 2 · Healthcare · Kathmandu
A fertility clinic with three branches in Kathmandu. Here the client had a budget for links, so alongside free outreach I secured a sponsored post on a high-authority international website.
| Ahrefs metric | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Linking websites | 42 | 900 |
| Backlinks | 59 | 2.4K |
| Domain Rating | 2.5 | 8 |
| Dofollow backlinks | 49% | 78% |
| Dofollow linking websites | 55% | 46% |
About Domain Rating: DR is Ahrefs’ own estimate, not something Google uses. I report it because clients ask, but I judge success by the rankings and traffic of the pages we build links to.

I only disavow when it’s genuinely needed. Google ignores most low-quality links on its own, and disavowing good links by mistake can hurt rankings. Hacked websites are the common exception, like the hacked clinic I recovered.
ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews learn about brands from what the web says about them, especially Reddit, Quora, directories and news sites.
Consistent brand mentions and citations in those places help AI assistants recognise your business and recommend it by name. That’s why Reddit and Quora are part of my off-page work, not an afterthought.
No. Competitors keep earning links, and some of your links disappear over time.
Steady monthly work builds authority that lasts. A single burst of links tends to fade, and a sudden spike can look unnatural to Google.
Links bring authority, but they only help pages that are ready to rank. That means fast, crawlable pages, fixed by a technical SEO specialist, clear titles and structure from an experienced on-page SEO professional, useful content worth linking to, written by an experienced SEO content writer, and for local businesses, a strong Google Business Profile from a local SEO consultant in Nepal.
Off-page SEO on its own starts from $97 to $150 a month. Full SEO packages, covering on-page, off-page, technical and local SEO, start from $150 and scale with your competition. Contract terms are flexible.
An off-page SEO expert builds trust signals for your website from outside it: backlinks from relevant websites, brand mentions, directory citations, business listings, and activity on communities like Reddit and Quora. The aim is higher rankings for your important pages.
There is no fixed number. I research a large list of opportunities and only go after the ones that pass four checks: authority, real traffic, niche relevance and location. A few strong, relevant links are worth more than hundreds of weak ones.
By default I build free and earned links. When a client has the budget, I add sponsored guest posts, digital PR and influencer placements on high-authority websites, labelled as sponsored the way Google asks. I never use PBNs or link farms.
Usually a few months. New links take time to be found and counted, and competitive keywords need more of them. I track the rankings of your target pages every month so you can see progress.
They’re useful estimates from Ahrefs and Moz, but Google doesn’t use them. I report them, but I judge off-page SEO by the rankings and traffic of the pages we build links to.
A disavow file tells Google to ignore specific harmful links pointing to your website. Most websites don’t need one, because Google already ignores most spam. It helps after a hack or a spam attack, and I’ll tell you honestly if yours needs it.
